Kittens can be vaccinated from nine weeks of age.  Ask your vet which vaccines are available.  Your vet will give you a vaccination certificate after the course is complete.  
An annual booster is required to keep the cat protected.  You will need to show your cat's up-to-date certificate when you book him into a cattery.
