Stray Cats

If you have acquired a Stray Cat, ask your animal welfare clinic or veterinary surgery for the phone numbers of local rescue groups.  They often keep a register of lost and found cats.  If you think the stray cat belongs to someone, placing cards in local shops may find the owner.  Putting a collar on the stray cat and attaching a message, asking the owner to contact you is a good idea if the animal only comes around occasionally.  If you are unable to keep the stray or do not know if he is neutered, ask the rescue group to help you.  Don't forget that they may be busy - but keep in contact until they can get round to helping.
