Moving?

When your moving day arrives, your cat will already know that something unusual is happening.  Keep him safely in a quiet room with his litter tray and food whilst the move is taking place.  If you don't keep him in then you might not be able to find him when it's time for him to go to the new home.  Make sure that your cat is in a secure basket when you move him.  If you can take him to the new house a couple of days earlier then so much the better.  When he is in his new home keep him in a room on his own whilst you get yourselves straight, making sure that no windows or doors are left open.  Make a lot of fuss of him.  The time factor for when a cat should be introduced to his new territory varies.  But a minimum is two to three weeks.

These are just a few short excepts from the book and there are more than 150 sections in total!
