Snowball, White Jobs, Darling Baby Angel are just a few of the names given to this most affectionate of cats.  Snowball has not always been living the idyllic life he has now. 

When my friend Heather and I were called to a house which had many cats living and breeding together (we had been helping to get the cats neutered).  We were just about to leave when I had a feeling that there was some unfinished business.  I asked if there were any more kittens, after some hesitation the owner went into a room and brought out Snowball.  He was placed in my hand.  At first he was not reconisable as a kitten.  He was covered in diarrhea and he had cat flu.

It was touch and go with him for some time and unfortunately his eyes had been affected by the flu.  One eye had to be removed and he was left with only partial sight in the other.  Thankfully he has now overcome such a dreadful start to his life and has grown into a most beautiful cat.

Snowball is now 12 years old and lives with Heather and her other rescued cats he can always be found curled up snug and warm - asleep on top of our cast iron radiator.  He is very gentle and never brings his claws out.  He well deserves the honour of being our first ever "cat of the month" and to launch our new website
